Content & Campaign Producer

University College London (UCL) - London, UK

As part of UCL’s marketing and communications team, I help create and produce digital content for the university’s social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. My work focused on turning university stories into engaging, audience-focused content that could connect with students, staff, and wider online audiences.

 

I pitched creative ideas, filmed interviews and campus moments, and edited short-form videos designed for social media. I also monitored news and cultural trends to identify relevant angles and translate them into timely content opportunities.

 

A key part of this role involved supporting major university initiatives, including the UCL 200 Bicentenary campaign, where I produced promotional content highlighting people and stories across the university community. I also supported communications and content coverage during the visit of Anne, Princess Royal, helping document the event for UCL’s digital platforms.Through this work, I developed strong experience in digital storytelling, fast-paced content production, and collaborative campaign work within a large communications team.

At Digital Dreams Festival, I supported the promotion of festival events by developing media and social content designed to increase audience engagement and event visibility.

 

My role included drafting press releases, preparing promotional materials, and coordinating media coverage. I helped manage campaign communications across digital platforms, ensuring that announcements, press materials, and social assets were distributed clearly and on time.

 

Working within an international festival environment strengthened my ability to manage communications in a fast-moving cultural setting while collaborating with creative teams and media partners.
