Across these roles, I have developed strong organisational, problem-solving, and coordination skills, contributing to projects from initial concept through to delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Plan, organise, and deliver monthly film events, including screenings, panels, workshops, creative challenges, and themed socials.

  • Develop termly event calendars in collaboration with the committee, aligning programming with the society’s mission to celebrate film culture and build community.

  • Manage logistics end-to-end: venue booking, scheduling, budgeting, promotion, and coordination with guest speakers and external partners.

  • Oversee event delivery, ensuring smooth operations and a welcoming, inclusive environment for diverse student audiences.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for members during events, facilitating engagement and resolving operational needs in real time.

Broadcast Producer

Key responsibilities include:

  • Led full production cycle of live broadcasts for the Varsity tournament in partnership with the Student Union.

  • Planned production logistics, including scheduling, budgeting, risk assessment, and technical setup using vMix.

  • Recruited, coordinated, and supervised crew members, assigning roles and directing live production workflows.

  • Produced promotional content, including social media campaigns and edited video assets to increase event visibility and audience engagement.

  • Successfully delivered three multi-camera live streams with cohesive production and broadcast quality.

  • Served as the English-speaking representative of the team, leading press interactions, interviews, and communications with international media and production teams.

  • Managed publicity logistics during live productions, ensuring timely delivery of media assets under high-pressure conditions.

  • Contributed to promotional campaigns by distributing performance clips and supporting digital marketing strategies.

  • Participated in production coordination, learning workflows across creative, technical, and operational teams.

  • Contributed to growing Light Balance’s digital audience to 1M+ followers across TikTok and Instagram through recurring promotional campaigns.

  • Performed in and contributed to globally broadcast productions reaching multi-million audience viewership.
